Manifesto

As a client, this is my manifesto and promise to you…

I want you to feel this.
At Feel This my main goal is for you to find mindfulness–eat, move and live for how you want to feel. Sounds simple, but we’ll learn so much along the way.

When we connect our emotions and energy to how we live and bring awareness to those connections, we’ll end up chasing positivity and settling into a place where your body and mind feel damn good.

As you’re getting all touchy-feely, I promise:

  • I’ll never judge.
  • I’ll always support.
  • I’ll be positively positive.
  • I’ll educate and teach in a way that works for you.
  • If you need tough love, I’ll give it. (Remember, it’s love.)
  • I’ll make it as easy as possible.
  • I’ll be your guide.

But you have to want this. So here’s what I’m hoping we accomplish, where we go, what we do.

Eat for how we want to feel.
Let’s enjoy the food we eat and know that if we chose it from a place of knowledge it will serve us wholly.

Move for how you want to feel.
Let’s use movement as simultaneous expression and functionality, freedom and strength.

Live for how we want to feel.
Let’s use experiences to honor the body we live in and all it does for us–where it takes us and who it takes us to. Let’s respect it and all of its processes and manifestations since it’s our home.

The process is everything, so just trust.
We won’t accomplish instant magic, but we’ll be detectives. We’ll do the work that’s sometimes hard and that will be when the magic happens. We’ll be open and adventure and try new things.

We’ll go there.
To that yucky place that feels uncomfortable and maybe isn’t something you wanted to uncover. But we’ll travel to the lows so you can fully live in the highs.

We’ll get to that place where lightness and fullness (in your life, not just your belly) operate simultaneously.

We’ll find balance in this world where everyone’s like, “what the eff is balance?!” We’ll define it for you as an individual and get you to live there.

BUT, if we always lived in balance we might as well be dead.
We’ll find how to comfortably and healthfully go out of balance, stepping away from it to only find it again with more appreciation. We only know what balance is when we allow ourselves to stray from it.

We won’t hide.
We’ll shed the physical and emotional layers and run confidently to our new selves.

We’ll celebrate.
Because you’ll know yourself better and love yourself fully. And you feel (and look!) pretty damn good.
